"There’s something between us—something I don’t understand. Wh—" Before she could finish, his lips crashed onto hers. She gasped, pushing against him, and he instantly pulled away. His voice low, laced with disdain. "It’s your misconception. And even if there was something… you’d be the last person I’d ever share it with." A bitter smirk followed. "Because I despise you so much." Shattering her heart into pieces once again.
