the mansion was no more beautiful than heaven it was decorated luxuriously anyone who would have seen it would have been flabbergasted by how every inch of the mansion was decorated with gold and diamonds. But riya didn't even for once raise her head to look and see the beauty

her mother slowly helped her descend the flight of stairs with several aunties and young women were walking behind them and fer friend Srishti by her side joining her descend

she could feel the gaze of people from under her veil, around her all eyes now fix on her, but she couldn't care less, she was in deep thinking and her eyes were moist, she was angry at her mother for keeping such a condition and hated why she had to do this

on the other hand, she wondered about Sameer and tears collected on the edge of her eyes he might take off her as a cheater now, she closed her and took a deep breathe

when they finally reached the hall there was a pathway made for towards the mandap which was magnificently beautiful but there was someone even more beautiful, dashing and handsome standing there.... But she still kept her head down as if silently protesting

All the young girls behind them and people around the hall murmured about the guy, they couldn't believe he was the YUVRAJ RAICHAND! They had all seen him in the news and all but it was for the first time they were quite surprised and mesmerized at seeing him,He looked like a Greek god In that sherwani

Kanika who was with her son in a beautiful expensive sarree on noticing the brides approach squealed and quickly rushed to take her beside her son

Soon her mother and kanika took her to the mandap where she also noticed her father though who was continuously working in arranging everything, she also heard somebody's raspy deep voice like dark chocolate talking to her father but she didn't care much about it, it was almost like she didn't get to see him the whole day as he was so busy with all the arrangements and guest.

Riya was positioned beside Yuvraj, soon the pandit ji declared that we should start with the process before the 'shubh murat' goes away and both of them were seated, while the pandit ji started with his mantras.

Riya was continuously looking at the fire with an emotionless face, but her eyes spoke all that emotions, she saw flashbacks of her memory with Sameer in the fire and she closed her eyes to stop herself from the tears.

Good thing was her face was covered by the veil so people really didn't get to see her but that was what she thought,

Soon they were told to stand up for the varmala and she hesitantly put the varmala over his neck for one thing she realised was that he was really tall but didn't know exactly how much because she moved her face away to another side,

He also put the varmala on her neck. And again the mantras were chanted soon

In kanyadan, her father took her hand and placed it together with Yuvraj's big rough but warm palm, she again frowned, feeling emotional not this time because of Sameer but for her father that now she would have to leave him, though she couldn't forget how he slapped her and how 'wrong' he was about Sameer according to her but still he was her father

On the pther side her father also looked sad that he had to give his little girl, his voice was emotional as he said to Yuvraj to take care of her girl, Yuvraj hmmed in dominance and slightly nodded. And at that riya couldn't stop and a teardrop slipped her eyes but she quickly wiped it

Then they were told to take the saat phere , a little girl, who was apparently anvi, kanika's daughter joined their door and kanika helped her by this time kanika was in the 7th cloud happy tears were perishing at the edges of her eyes and she looked at the sky as if signaling her husband

Whereas riya was numb, she imagined of this day with Sameer, where she'll be happily taking the phere with him and understanding the meaning of it, this marriage for her was nothing as to what she thought. it was as if her parents saw her stiff that she slightly pushed her to take the pheres

After the phere was the mangalsutra and sindoor, and the mangalsutra wasn't any ordinary mangalsutra it had several diamond pieces installed on it, which was specially designed by kanika for riya, she proudly handed the mangalsutra and sindoor to this son

Whereas riya finally couldn't take it a few drops of tears escaped her eyes and sadness clouded over her again, but she couldn't forget how close he was too her and how his masculine and fresh cologne smell mixed and intervened her nostrils and how she shivered when his big hands reached around her neck.

After that they were told to take the blessings from the respective parents and they took the blessings together though this whole time she didn't really look at him, she looked at her friend who was standing nearby and she couldn't stop her tears maybe srishti did realize it but before she could led Srishti do anything riya just simply looked away and nor did Srishti approach then.

Then finally They were then taken for departure and looked at the gate of a mansion where a black rolls Royce stood and a few others just behind and forth them, they were slowly closing the car but by every step she felt her heart heavy, and when they just stood near the car as if like a reel of memories flashed and she turned and hugged her parents finally crying, tears streaming down her eyes,

The pain of losing her mother, her father and Sameer all hit her together and she clutched them tight soon Kanika aunty came and slowly part them away and softly made her sit in the car while she was still hiccupping suddenly a small girl comes to her and asks her why she was crying,

Riya recognized it was kanika aunty's younger daughter, 7-year-old, anvi, she took the cute girl in her arms and said because she was leaving her parent, the girl just nodded perhaps didn't really understand, and tried to wipe her eyes, Yuvraj was looking all of these seated on his side,

But talking to anvi made riya relaxed a little,Kanika didn't want to tire Riya so she tried to take anvi away with her but she refused to come to her arms and clung to riya, this created a light chuckle in the mass surrounding them and lightened the atmosphere a little, Kanika was hesitant but Riya said she could take care of her and they sat together.

The trip to their mansion clearly took half an hour and as soon as the car started the little girl started to talk to Riya and she smilingly answered the questions ignoring everything, later anvi's eyes slowly dropped and soon the little girl fell asleep in her arms perhaps tired as she was still awake late at night to witness the marriage.

There was still a lot of time to the trip she just kept out looking from the window and her mind again clouded with her parents and Sameer, her heart aced especially for Sameer, right now she wanted to be with him, sure aunty and her little daughter were really cute and she liked them, and somewhere seeing them happy made her happy,

But then her subconsciousness attacked her with several questions which she herself had no answers to

'But what about her happiness?? Was it selfish of her to have her share of happiness? Her parents married her off to a guy she didn't even know and despite being madly in love with somebody how was it her fault?! Why do you have to compromise'

From the outside she seemed that she was relaxed and had stopped crying but only the inside of her knew it was troublesome and she came up to a conclusion that she was gonna say it all to him, she didn't want to mislead him and clear off the things before handedly and somewhere in her heart she just prayed or expected him to understand her and her feelings.

Though that seemed selfish or cruel of her but her thoughts had somewhere poisoned her mind that what she was doing in process was right even if it results in hurting many people,

She was thinking all of this when the car came in a halt and she realise that they had reached, she carefully woke up anvi with her melodious voice and suddenly her side of the door happened and a big hand extended towards her, Kanika came and took anvi with her

Riya's gaze was locked on his hand through the veil, she was hesitant to place her hand in his but remembering her plan she put her small mehndi cladded hand in his and got locked in his hand as if they were perfect pieces.

She realized that their mansion was huge, bigger than hers, with a fountain before the mansion and a massive white marble mansion and garden decorated with several fairy lights.

Soon Kanika came back to take them and Kanika was booming with happiness and was also accepted by the servents

Some pre rituals took place, which didn't take much time to end and then Yuvraj excused himself as he had some work, and Riya was taken to her room, or more precisely Yuvraj's room, by Kanika and several female workers there,

she was informed that he had gone somewhere to meet some business people as it was important and he'll be here.

Till then Riya relaxed and looked around to see the room, which was massive and beautiful with mostly dark furniture and curtains, with this she got a basic idea that maybe he liked black,

a king-size bed in the middle which had rose petals on and some fragrant candles illuminated the dark room. she cringed at the fact that they expecting something from them when they were literally meeting for the first time.

She noticed a tall glass of milk near the nightstand. Her tummy craved for it and urged her to drink it, as she was starving. she just had breakfast in the morning and that too was very little and since then she has had nothing all this time. but still, she didn't budge to take that glass.

She slowly moved with her heavy lehenga towards the dressing which had a tall mirror and indeed she looked beautiful even after all these tiring hours and soon she started to remove her jewelry and untugged her veil....

she was thinking about all the things and her plan and now she was nervous about how would she say all of this to Yuvraj and how would he react, she was pacing here and there with tension... when she suddenly heard the door creaked open, which surprised her but she took a deep breath, fisted her hands and closed her eyes turned around, thinking now or never and finally let it out

" please listen to me... i..I can't accept this marriage..I was forced into..I love somebody else......"
